In 1989, with the approval of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, the Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition and Technical Exchange Fair (abbreviated as BICES) was jointly founded by China National Machinery Industry Corporation and the Machinery Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
