The International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, USA, was founded in 1927 by the Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT). It is a large-scale international trade show held every two years at McCormick Place in Chicago, USA, and has successfully reached its 34th edition to date. After nearly a century of development, IMTS has become the largest and longest-running international trade show in the U.S. manufacturing sector, earning its place among the world’s most renowned exhibitions. It is also widely recognized globally as an ideal platform for showcasing and selling advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment, serving as a barometer for the development of the global manufacturing industry and holding a pivotal, leading position in the global metalworking and mechanical manufacturing sectors.
2024年第34届展会展出面积1,226,523平方英尺（约11.4万平方米），参展企业1,737家，参展企业数量前五名的国家和地区分别是美国、中国、中国台湾地区、德国、加拿大。展示设备总重达4千万磅（约1.8万吨），89,020名专业观众到场参观洽谈。本届展会我会组织国内90家生产企业参展，展出面积2538平方米。参展企业均表示参展效果良好，有效拓展了客户资源并提升了中国制造的国际影响力。
