Compared to previous exhibitions, the exhibition area occupied by Chinese companies this year has continued to grow, with laser companies showing particularly higher participation than in previous events. Laser processing equipment companies such as Bond, Hongshi, and Huibai Sheng are all exhibiting on large scales.

Tooling companies are an important component of the Chinese pavilion. Leading Chinese tool manufacturers such as Hua Rui, Oukaiyi, Wald, and Xinxing have all showcased their products at IMTS 2024.

In terms of new technologies, companies such as Dazhu Robotics, Shanghai XianGong, and Creaform have showcased automation technologies and 3D printing technologies from China.

At this year’s exhibition, Chinese companies implemented a full-coverage spray-painting solution for their standard booths, which not only enhanced the promotion of Chinese brands but also boosted the effectiveness of their participation in the event.

In addition, many exhibiting companies opted for custom-built booth designs that fully comply with the exhibition’s and U.S. labor union’s relevant regulations, making them a striking highlight at IMTS 2024.

03 Cooperation and Exchange

       1. Visit the Chinese Consulate General in Chicago

During IMTS 2024, Zhou Weidong, President of our association, and Zhou Haiming, Vice President, along with their delegation, paid a visit to the Chinese Consulate General in Chicago. They exchanged views with Commercial Counselor Hu Yingzhi and Deputy Consul Li Zhibo on the latest developments in China-U.S. trade as well as important considerations for Chinese enterprises doing business in the U.S.

        2. The 20th Anniversary of IMTS Group’s Participation in Exhibitions

Since 2002, the China National Machinery Industry Promotional Association has been organizing Chinese enterprises to participate in IMTS. With the exception of a hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, our association has now been sending delegations to the exhibition for twenty years. Over the past two decades, we have been committed to enhancing both the quantity and quality of Chinese exhibitors, carefully crafting personalized exhibition plans for them, and continuously striving to help Chinese exhibitors achieve a more cost-effective exhibition experience.

        3. Visit national or regional associations and exhibiting companies.

In addition, during the exhibition, I led meetings with relevant officials from machine tool associations across various countries and regions, exchanging views on the development status and latest trends of the machine tool industry in each country. At the same time, I visited representatives from exhibiting companies to gain insight into their expectations and feedback regarding the exhibition as well as the U.S. market.

The 35th IMTS will be held from September 14 to 19, 2026. The China National Machinery Industry Promotion Association will continue to serve as the sole partner of this exhibition in China, organizing Chinese companies to participate and visit the show.
