From September 20 to 23, 2023, the 16th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machinery, and Mining Machinery Exhibition & Technical Exchange Fair—hereinafter referred to as “BICES 2023”—with the theme “Digital Efficiency, Green Reliability,” kicked off with great fanfare at the Shunyi Branch of the China International Exhibition Center. This “electric-for-fuel” approach fully leverages the mature and reliable whole-machine technology of internal-combustion forklifts, along with an efficient, well-established, and cost-effective supply chain system. Combined with China’s industrial advantages and cost benefits in lithium-battery technology, this approach effectively lowers the barrier to converting internal-combustion forklifts into electric ones, thereby accelerating the widespread adoption of new-energy forklifts.

As the leading enterprise in China’s all-steel giant tire industry, Hai’an Group made its domestic debut at BICES 2023. At this year’s exhibition, the company showcased its classic mining tire model 59/80R63—the largest all-steel giant tire currently available globally, with a diameter of 4.03 meters and weighing up to 5.8 tons. These massive all-steel radial tires for construction machinery represent a highly distinctive, high-end product within the construction machinery tire segment. Due to their enormous size and weight, harsh operating conditions, and long, uninterrupted service hours, the production of all-steel giant tires poses significant technical challenges. Currently, only a handful of tire manufacturers are capable of achieving large-scale mass production of such tires.
